The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is the most respected voice for communication sciences and disorders (CSD) professionals in the world. ASHA's Certificates of Clinical Competence, the CCCs, are the nation's most widely recognized symbols of competency for audiology and speech-language pathology professionals.
Being "certified" means holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), a nationally recognized professional credential that represents a level of excellence in the field of Audiology (CCC-A) or Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
